The national Archives of Singapore is a place which keep our nation records. These records are very precious and important as they contain the history of Singpore. The original documents were only allowed to exhibit but not for research purpose. Borrowers for exhibition use have to submit a written request at least 4months in advance of loan date and include an American Association of Museums Standard Facility Report or equivalent. Borrowers also must comply with NARA’s stringent security, fire protection, environmental, and transport requirements. The other service they provide is the census records. Copies of the exact census page can now be ordered online, as well as through the National Archives Order for Copies of Census Records. If those who do not know the exact page of the census you can check with your local librarian or genealogical society for more information.
