New Media Review.

4 11 2009

After looking at some of the articles, i have decided to review on new media, the future music. I find it interesting about it and therefore, i am going to elaborate it on the next few paragraphs.

There will be no CDs and mp3s in the future. Music will be available all over the web. You do not have to pay money to get a CD or a MP3. Music providers will offer a wide range of music with just a small amount of fee that you already paid. It could be your handphone contract, tax and so on that you do not even notice.

However, it may lead to music piracy slow down as everyone will be downloading music without any restriction. Banning of illegal downloading, copying, sharing will no longer be forbidded as you gets to listen to the music that you like without paying any single cent.

The good point is that it allows more people to listen to music most of the time. In the meantime, they can search for lyrics and follow with the song they are listening to. It allows people to communicate throught music more.  Also, more people will be listening music on the web, radio and tv instead of buying CDs. This way, you get to save money and enjoy music at the same time.

Here comes the bad point. Ultimately, it is going to ruin the music industry. Singers depend on their CDs to earn a living. The music industry will comes to an end. Music production will gradually decrease as time goes by and it may leak to lack of new musics.

In conclusion, the future of music have advantages and disadvantages in different perspective.
